How our bespoke process works
How does a bespoke Orphée jewel come to life?
Every Orphée creation begins with a personal conversation. Together we explore style, symbolism and the materials that speak to the future wearer. This dialogue guides the first sketches and shapes the creative direction.
Once the design is refined, we source the appropriate (colored) gemstones, study proportions and select the 18kt gold color. Every piece is crafted by hand in Antwerp, following a process that honours care, precision and beauty.
The final jewel is delivered once every detail feels true to the vision we developed together.
How long does a bespoke creation take?
Most creations require between four and eight weeks, depending on complexity, stone selection and the season. Very intricate pieces may take longer. We always provide a time indication during the design phase.
Can I request a specific gemstone?
Yes. We work with a curated network of trusted gemologists to source fine colored stones and diamonds. Please note that rare gemstones and natural diamonds are subject to availability and market price. We guide you through every option with clarity and care.
Can existing jewellery be reimagined?
Yes. At Orphée Antwerp, we believe that jewellery, much like life, can evolve.
Family heirlooms, childhood pieces, jewels that no longer feel like you, or creations linked to meaningful moments — there are countless reasons to wish for a piece to be transformed rather than set aside.
Reimagining an existing jewel is a delicate process. It may involve certifying materials, refining or reusing gold, carefully repolishing gemstones and, above all, rethinking the design with sensitivity and intention.
From the first conversation to the final creation, you are guided personally. We explore new design directions, consider gemstones, translate ideas into 3D and bring the piece to life through master goldsmithing in the Antwerp Diamond District.
The result is not a replacement, but a continuation — a jewel that carries its past while fully belonging to your present, ready to be worn and cherished for many years to come.
About our gift cards
How does the Orphée gift card work?
All Orphée gift cards are delivered digitally. After purchase you receive a beautifully designed digital card by email which you can forward to the recipient or present personally.
What can be created with a gift card?
Each card opens a different creative range, from delicate heritage pieces to expressive rings with colored gemstones. The possibilities depend on the chosen materials, the complexity of the design and current gold and gemstone prices. We guide the receiver toward what is possible within their selected tier.
Does a gift card cover the full cost of a jewel?
No. A gift card represents a contribution toward the final creation. The full budget is determined during the design process and depends on the choices of the recipient.
How long does delivery take?
Digital gift cards are delivered within minutes after purchase. In rare cases email delays may occur depending on the provider. If you do not receive your card please contact us.
When do the gift cards expire?
Gift cards remain valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. If additional time is required, we kindly ask the recipient to contact us.
